Who Are We?

Lebanese American Renaissance Partnership - Lebanon Branch
Beirut 7 February 2013

To help the Lebanese stay rooted in their own land; and to encourage the expatriates to return to Lebanon and unite with their families; therefore, the Lebanese American Renaissance Partnership adopts the following:

I: Encourage Lebanese businessmen and women working abroad to invest in the homeland of Lebanon in order to create jobs for residents and newly graduated students; work to improve trade relations between Lebanese businessmen and their counterparts in the world; work to attract successful Lebanese intellectuals from abroad to invest their energy, know how, and creativity in Lebanon in order to improve life at all levels: economically, educationally, artistically and literarily.

II: To support the cause of a free Lebanon in the decision-making capitals and the United Nations; to benefit from the power that our immigrants have around the world; to coordinate among the widely spread Lebanese communities in the five continents to reflect positively in the motherland.

III: Work with the international community to achieve the neutrality of Lebanon and the establishment of a modern Lebanese state in line with global development.

IV: Work to protect the civil rights of our expatriates in Lebanon including their inherited properties; and to improve and strengthen the relations between them and the institutions of the Lebanese Government.

V: To support the civil society and civil institutions in Lebanon through the provision of financial and or logistical support to improve the environment, health and education; to give a greater role to women in civic and political life; and to provide scholarships for needy students.
