Professor Marius Deeb holds a Ph.D. in Politics from Oxford University. He teaches the Politics and History of the Middle East at the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University. Among his recent publications is Syria's Terrorist War on Lebanon and the Peace Process (available in hard copy, in paperback and as an e book). His latest work, to be published in 2013 by the Hoover Institution Press, is The Unholy Alliance: Syria, Iran and Hizballah and Its Impact on Lebanon. Dr. Deeb has spoken at numerous conferences throughout the United States and the Middle East. He and his wife Mary Jane have one son and a grandchild. They live in Potomac, Maryland. |
