Eddy SlimEddy Slim was born in Lebanon. While attending the University of the Holy Spirit in Lebanon, Eddy earned a Microsoft Systems’ Engineering License and was among the top ten students on the fisrt year. In 2001, he immigrated to America to join his family in San Diego, California and continue his education.

With determination and hard work, Mr. Slim was able to assimilate into America. He quickly rose to be a leader both in his community, as well as at his school. He was accepted to Woodbury University, School of Architecture, where he not only excelled in the classroom, but also proved to be an innovator and a leader.

While at Woodbury, Mr. Slim coordinated lectures for the school, bringing in many influential leaders within the industry. He was also nominated to meet with the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) and serve as the school’s delegate in regard to renewing Woodbury’s accreditation- a task that Mr. Slim completed successfully. Twice, in 2008 & 2009, he obtained a Leadership Award from Woodbury University for his contribution to the school’s community.

In 2009 he started and was the president of the Woodbury University Students For Obama. and joined the San Diego For Obama Chapter.

From 2003 through 2006, Mr. Slim was an active part of Festival Communities at St. Ephrem Church in San Diego. He was also appointed to serve on the Church Council from 2006 through 2008. In 2006, he coordinated the Noursat Political roundtable at the NAAM convention (National Apostolate of Maronites) in S.D.

Mr. Slim closed his first multi-million dollar deal in San Diego in 2001 and subsequently started his first real estate investment business in Las Vegas.

Eddy’s desire to connect Lebanese-American youth grew stronger, and by 2002, he created a national student-run organization called the Lebanese Campus-Link (L.C.L). In 2006, L.C.L. hosted its first successful national convention, which drew over four-hundred attendees. One-year later, L.C.L hosted its second-convention, which was televised by KFMB, a CBS-affiliate in San Diego, and KUSI.

In 2007, he joined the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). Currently, Mr. Slim resides in Mexico City, working on several major Architectural projects
