Prior to those positions she was a project coordinator for the American University of Brazil; she taught at the American University of Culture & Education AUCE and the Sagesse High School in Lebanon; and was partner and division manager at the Maalouf International Trading. She attended and participated in several local, regional and international forums and conferences including Beirut, Doha, Dubai, Amman, London, and Guayaquil.
She holds a PhD in Public Relations from Corllins University in Virginia; and speaks five languages.Dr. Maalouf served on several civic boards and is a member of several associations including the Ecuadorian Chamber of Commerce; Lebanese Development network; Ecuadorian Lebanese Women Association and the Cultural Committee of the Lebanese Club in Guayaquil-Ecuador and is a board member with the Lebanese American Renaissance Partnership (LARP).
Dr. Maalouf is married to Georges Maalouf; has 4 children and 2 grand children and is nowadays a very active member in the Lebanese society.
