Mr. Zahr is the Managing Director of the DEP Levant Oil & Gaz Company LTD in Cyprus; prior to this position Mr. Zahr was Managing Director of the Oil and Gas division at Design Engineering Partners in Lebanon; Business Development Manager at the Khadda International General Trading & Contracting in Kuwait and Middle East Marketing &Sales Manager at the Linde Mapag in Lebanon.

In 1993 Mr. Abboud Zahr received his Master in Business Administration from the Christian-Alberchts-University in Kiel, Germany; in 1989 his Bachelor of Sience in Business Administration from Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon. He speaks and write fluently English, Frensh and German.

Having worked in Kuwait Mr. Zahr received an extensive experience in the Oil and Gas Field. Major alliances have been built with world renown EPC companies and important projects, exceeding one billion Dollars mark were won and executed. In previous industry experience consisted of developing complex upstream and midstream projects involving oil and gas infrastructure, joint ventures creation, mergers and acquisitions.

He has published several articles about Oil & Gas in leading Lebanese and Cypriot newspapers, and is a founding member of the "Beirut-Berlin Academic Forum". Mr. Zahr is married to Rima Boustany and they have three children.
