The Lebanese American Renaissance Partnership (LARP) calls on the Lebanese Parliament to put everything in its power with the highest sense of patriotism in preparing for the election of a new President of the Lebanese Republic as soon as possible and within the constitutional deadlines.

It urges the Members of Parliament to elect a politically experienced President who is respectable, courageous, devoid of any personal interests and sovereign, a President who will exercise his/her duties as a patriotic, constitutional and moral authority, thereby leading the country to the desired positive change.

The Lebanese American Renaissance Partnership (LARP) wishes that the President-elect’s first task be the restoration of Lebanon's international relations, particularly with the Arab world, starting with the 12-point Kuwaiti proposal, the adoption of a foreign policy based on the principle of neutrality in regional conflicts as well as the full implementation of all UN Security Council resolutions.

The Lebanese American Renaissance Partnership (LARP) wishes that the elected Head of State recognize the importance of the Lebanese Diaspora, both internally and internationally, and channel its potential into the Lebanese political system. Finally, the "Lebanese American Renaissance Partnership (LARP)" appeals to the President-elect to proceed with the launching of a comprehensive economic recovery plan aimed at stimulating the productive sectors, particularly the industrial one, tighten border controls to prevent smuggling, monitor all maritime, air and land borders, seal off all illegal crossings, fight corruption and activate expanded decentralization.
